Dkharmakhaoz are a duo from Belarus that plays a very dark and aggressive form form of black metal and this is a review of their 2020 album "Proclamation Ov The Black Suns" which will be released in July by Iron Bonehead Productions.
Dark sounding synths and soundscapes start of the album before going into a heavier musical direction. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the guitar solos and leads are done in a very dark and melodic style and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can also be heard.
When tremolo picking is utilized it gives the music more of a raw feeling while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. Elements of industrial can also be heard in certain sections of the recording along with the vocals also having their deeper moments.
The songs also add in a good mixture of both old school and modern influences along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them as well as some tracks also adding in some atmospheric touches, as the album progresses a brief use of spoken word samples and clean vocals can also be heard. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover occultism, darkness and apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion Dkharmakhaoz are a very great sounding dark and aggressive black metal band and if you are a fan of t his musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Cycle Ov Omega" "Proclamation Ov The Black Suns" and "Reu Nu Pert Em Hru". 8 out of 10.
