Goat Terror are a band from Belarus that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2019 ep "Unholy March" which will be released on November 15th by Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
A very dark and heavy sound starts off the ep along with some bestial growls a few seconds later. When the music speeds up its goes into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking along with a brief use of open note riffing.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. The songs also mix in a great amount of black metal elements as well as bringing in a decent mixture of both modern and old school influences, all of the songs avoid any use of melody and the music always sticks to a very raw an brutal sound and all of the musical instruments also h ave a very powerful sound to them.
Goat Terror plays a musical style that takes war, black and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover satanism, blasphemy, death and war themes.
In my opinion Goat Terror are a very great sounding mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "World, Sacrificed To Satan:. 8 out of 10.
