BlackShore are a band from Germany that plays a very heavy, raw and primitive form of black metal with elements of thrash and this is a review of their 2013 album "Terror" which was released by Black Skull Records.
"Terror" begins with some spoken word movie samples and a minute alter fast and primitive guitar riffs along with some blast beats, bass guitars and high pitched black metal screams start kicking in and the song utilizes and old school approach.
"Reaktor" begins with blast beats from the drums and fast and primitive guitar riffs which lead up to some high pitched black metal screams and after a minute thrash influences and black'n'roll elements start coming into the song and combine with the old school black metal elements of the song and after awhile the music start to slow down for awhile along with some melodic guitar riffing but gets fast again towards the end.
'Troublemakers Black Metal" begins with some guitar riffs that combine first and second wave black metal together along with some powerful bass playing, blast beats and high pitched screams as well as thrash elements.
"Panzervergnugen" begins with heavy guitar riffs and sounds of machine guns firing as well as some drums which lead up to some black metal screams and towards the end the music goes into a more fast and primitive direction along with some blast beats and powerful sounding bass guitars.
'Prayer To The Bombs" begins with some fast and primitive guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and grim sounding black metal screams and a few seconds later blast beats start making their presence known and after awhile the music starts to slow down for awhile before returning back to a faster direction.
"52 Meter" begins with some war movies samples before the heavy guitar and bass riffs start kicking in along with some drums and a minute alter it goes into a more fast and primitive direction along with some blast beats and thrash influences which leads up to some grim sounding black metal screams that lead up to a mixture of mid paced and fast parts and towards the end th e music goes into a slower direction.
'Dystopian Demon Dynamite" begins with some black rock style guitar and bass riffs along with some drums which leads up to a brief spoken word part and then the thrash influences and black metal screams start kicking in as well as some back up gang shouts and as the song moves on their is a brief use of blast beats being utilized.
"Benthams Panoptikon" begins with fast and brutal guitar and bass riffs and blast beats along with some high pitched black metal screams and the song also adds in a good amount of primitive elements.
"Puking Blood Means Cancer" begins with some slow guitar riffs before adding in some drums and bass guitars and then the black metal screams and first wave elements kick in along with some black'n'roll elements and towards the end the music goes into a faster direction.
"Dimension Arger" begins with some talk show samples and a few seconds alter fast and primitive guitar and bass riffs along with some blast beats and grim sounding black metal screams start kicking in an d the song takes an old school black metal approach and towards the end there is a brief use of punk style shouting.
"Bootomagie" begins with some spoken word samples before adding in some clean guitar playing and towards the end ambient and avant garde sounds come in the song and the song is very long and epic in length and towards the end there are some black thrash guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and high pitched screams and towards the end the song starts to add in some slower guitar riffing.
Song lyrics are written in a mixture of English and German and cover war, dystopian, black metal and misanthropic themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Black Shore are a very great sounding primitive black metal band with elements of black'n'roll and thrash and if you are a fan of this musical genre you should check out this recording.
