Cornucopia Ov Nonexistence/Birth Is The Only Gate To Abysmal Death/2013 EP Review

  Cornucopia Ov Nonexistence   are  a  1  man  band  from  the  United  Kingdom  that  plays  an  ambient  form of  depressive  black metal  and this  is  a  review  of  his  self  released  2013  ep  "Birth  Is The Only Gate To Abysmal Death".

  "Life  Is  Only  Razor  Cut  Deep"  begins  with  some  dark  ambient  sounding  synths  and  after  a  few  seconds  the  drum  beats  start  kicking  in  which  leads  up  to  some  depressive  sounding  black  metal  screams  and  after  awhile  heavy guitar riffs  are  added  into  the  song  and  before  the end  of  the  song  they start utilizing  some  dark  sounding  melodies.

  "Maze  Of  Mirrors" begins with  some  dark  depressive  black metal  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  then  the  grim  suicidal  screams  start  kicking  in  and  towards  the end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  noise  effects.

  "Birth Is The Only Gate To Abysmal Death"  begins  with  some  dark  and  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  along  with  some  distorted  sounding  black  metal screams  and  growls  and  after  a  couple of  minutes  the  guitar  riffing  brings  in  some  ambient  and  drone  sounds.

  Song  lyrics  cover  dark  and  depressive  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

  In  my  opinion  Cornucopia Ov Nonexistence  are  a  very  great  sounding  depressive  black  metal  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Maze  Of  Mirrors".  RECOMMENDED.
