This is a review of another recording from Sxuperion with the musical style this time around being bestial black/death metal and the ep being released by Bloody Mountain Records in 2011 and called "The Satanic Idol Whoreship".
"Hymn I" begins with primitive black metal guitar riffs, blast beats and bestial black/death metal growls and after awhile the music starts adding in some slow sections while mostly sticking to fast parts and there is also a brief use of guitar solos and leads being utilized in some parts.
"Hymn 2" begins with some heavy guitar riffs and brutal blast beats before the growls kick in along with some distorted leads and there is a mixture of fast and slow parts in the song with the music being very primitive and evil sounding.
"Hymn 3" begins with some dark ritualistic sounds before the fast guitar riffs and drums kick in along with some bestial growls and blast beats and the riffs start getting even more primitive and filthy sounding and towards the end there is a brief use of guitar solos and leads being utilized and the song closes with some ritualistic synths.
"Hymn 4" begins with some dark sounding synths and noise sounds and a few seconds alter drum beats, heavy guitar and bass riffs along with some demonic growls start kicking in before going into brutal blast beat as well as adding in some dark and primitive sounding guitar leads and at the last minute the song adds in a brief use of slow parts before getting fast and primitive again.
'Hymn 5" begins with some running sounds before adding in some primitive bestial black/death metal guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and demonic guttural growls and after a minute the dark sounding guitar leads start coming in certain parts of the song and after awhile the music starts slowing down for a bit and you can hear some water sounds in the background.
"Hymn 6" begins wit h some dark avant garde sounds before adding in some primitive guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and dark sounding melodies and a few seconds later t he demonic and guttural growls start kicking in and the music gets a little bit more fast along with some blast beats and guitar leads as the song moves on there is some demonic chanting being utilized in certain sections.
'Satanic Idol Whoreship" begins with some dark avant garde synths and ritual sounds and after awhile you can hear human torture sounds and the song is all instrumental.
Song lyrics cover Satanism themes, while the production has a very dark, raw and primitive sound while you can still hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Sxuperion and if you are a fan of bestial black/death metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Hymn 1" and Hymn 5". RECOMMENDED BUY.
