A Mors et Bello are a band from Mexico that plays a very satanic form of black metal and this is a review of their current music which will later be released on a full length which will also be their first album since 2005.
"Punisher Of Women".
A very fast and melodic sound starts off the track while synths can also be heard in the background, Vocals are mostly grim sounding black metal screams while the music is also very heavily rooted in the 90's style. Spoken word parts can also be heard briefly and the song also brings in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, at times the vocals also get very deep and demonic sounding and all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them.
"The Harlot Of Christ".
A very dark and heavy sound starts off the song while the synths also add in a very dominant style. Demonic death metal growls can also be heard at times while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of blast beats along with the tremolo picking also giving the song more of a raw feeling.
Grim black metal screams are also a very huge part of the track and all of the musical instruments also sound very powerful as well as the song also alternating between slow, mid paced and fast parts and spoken word parts can also be heard briefly and the solos and leads also add in more of an old school style.
"Blood Funeral In The Temple Of Wisdom".
A very fast and brutal sound starts off the song along with a great amount of blast beats while the synths also gives the music more of a symphonic feeling. Vocals are mostly grim sounding black metal screams along with the song also adding in a lot of mid 90's influences and the song also adds in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
A Mors et Bello plays a style of satanic black metal that is very synth orientated and heavily rooted in the mid 90's era. The production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover Satanism and Anti Christianity themes.
In my opinion A Mors et Bello are a very great sounding old school and synth orientated satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their music. 8 out of 10.
