Vermisst are a band from Poland that plays a very old school and keyboard orientated from of black metal and this is a review of their 2020 ep "Zmierzch stalowej clemmosci" which will be released by Fallen Temple.
A very dark sounding keyboards intro starts off the ep before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking. Keyboards are also mixed in with the heavier sections of the songs and the vocals are mostly angry sounding black metal screams.
Most of the music is also very heavily rooted in the 90's era while all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them. The riffs also add in a great amount of melody along with the songs also adding in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as the guitar solos and leads being done in a very melodic style, all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them as well as one track being very long and epic in length and the ep closes with n instrumental.
Vermisst plays a style of black metal that is very keyboard orientated and heavily rooted in the 90's second wave tradition. The production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics are written in Polish and cover primeval darkness, cold abyss of death and moon spectres.
In my opinion Vermisst are a very great sounding old school and keyboard orientated black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Czas chtonicznej zemsty" and "W pozagrobowej przestrzeni". 8/5 out of 10.
