Zebadiah Crowe are a duo from the United Kingdom that plays a mixture of black, thrash metal, grindcore and industrial and this is a review of their 2020 album "Host breaker" which was released by Lore Breaker Records.
Keyboards and industrial elements start off the album before going into a heavier musical direction while the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams. All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them along with some blast beats being added into the faster sections of the music.
Influences of grindcore and thrash metal are also utilized quite a bit throughout the recording while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. All of the riffing is done mostly on power chords along with the music only adding in a a brief use of melody as well as the songs also bringing in a great amount of raw aggression and one track also adds in some ethnic music sounds before returning back to a heavier direction.
Zebadiah Crowe plays a musical style that takes black, thrash metal, grindcore and industrial and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover the writings of Clive Barker, H.P Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe.
In my opinion Zebadiah Crowe are a very great sounding mixture of black, thrash metal, grindcore and industrial and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this dup. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Knucklebones" "The Neon Goat Of Crimson Grief" and "Wormhavens Dance". 8 out of 10.
