Morbid Winds Interview

1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?

Diabolizer: Hail Satan! Their fucking loss! We're the fire of hell that burns the stigma on the fucking asses of the pseudo-metalists, we're the storm that brings decay and death, we're the darkness, the abyss in which the whole being is enchanted. The Horde was created on the initiative of Bloodwhip and mine, which quickly entailed efforts to find a suitable, engaged dead heart singer, which became Cryptic Lust!!!! Arrrggghhhh!!!!

2.So far you have released 2 demo's, musically how do they differ from each other?

Diabolizer: The atmosphere. It's fucking black metal. That's it and that's it! We don't impose guidelines on ourselves to compose a new piece of gun. The whole process leaks out of us with drops of stinking black. We allow the abyss and hell to speak through us when our inner demons find that the time has just come...

3.All of the band members are also involved with other bands, what is it that you bring into the music of 'Morbid Winds' that you are not able to do with your other groups?

Diabolizer: Every band we play in is completely different from each other. Starting with the line-up (in no hordes are the same people playing although the line-ups intertwine), through the music, lyrics, approach and self-expression. Each horde we play in is a completely different manifestation of hell and dark. I guess, you can hear that?!

4.Can you tell us a little bit more about the lyrical topics and subjects you explored on both of the demo's and how would you describe your progress as songwriters on both of the releases?

Cryptic Lust: The lyrical themes in Morbid Winds are my own manifestations of darkness. The deeper meaning is left for every listener to find individually.

5.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Morbid Winds'?

Diabolizer: That's what I leave to the potential audience. All I can say is that the name has a few meanings for me, the keys to finding them will not necessarily lead you to the door... Let's not take it for granted, even though it seems a simple name...

6.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new demo cover?

Diabolizer: All I can say here is that the author wouldn't want to split up the whole that stands behind "The Ruin of Forgotten Desolation" Cover, music, lyrics are three unholy elements that are the symbol of the corpse of Morbid Winds' message. If someone wants to break it down into the first factors, then go ahead. Let everyone enlighten themselves with a black light!

7.Has the band had any opportunities to do any live shows?

Diabolizer: No. The assumption at the beginning was to exclude potential gigs and that's not likely to change. Experience death at home. Let it crawl out of its tangled corners in the shadows!

8.The first demo was released on 'Worship Tapes' do you feel this label was very helpful when it comes to getting your music out there heard?

Diabolizer: The second demo also came out on tape with Worship Tapes! It's the perfect label for us cultivating the old rules, transforming our devotion and dedication to black art into action! Whoever is to hear Morbid Winds will be given it. The rest of the posers should die in ignorance...

9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?

Diabolizer: They've been possessed and fucked to death! 666

10.What is going on with some of the other bands or musical projects these days that some of the band members are a part of?

Diabolizer: All are more or less active. Whoever's sitting in this swamp should keep up to date. Access to this information is at your fingertips. But this year will be a crushing blow. Believe me! Some of the hordes I play have recently released new material. Soon some will release new ones from the darkness. Our dead forge continues, the devil's metal is pierced in the fire of hell all the time. Death does not fall asleep!

11.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?

Diabolizer: As I wrote earlier, we do not impose on ourselves the direction we are going to take. The new material is already composed, partly recorded. There's no exception, it'll still be black metal that you motherfuckers will be drinking this year!

12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an infleunce on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Diabolizer : It's a fucking thing, but I'm not hiding that perhaps the most profound influence, reaching to the core of my IAM, had hordes of so-called second wave of black metal... And on the headphones I'm just fucking Goatsmegma with its very successful "Demonic Goat smegma Eating Ritual" - check it out, ask in Morbid Chapel Records!!! I also listen to the new Förgjord "Laulu Kuolemasta" or Aggressive Mutilator... it's just a micro drop in the black river that surrounds me every day. And remember, MZ412 rules!

13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

Diabolizer: Worship the Devil and support the underground! Hail Satan!
