Sereignos are a band from Indonesia that plays a very raw mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Total Havoc" which was released as a joint effort between Satanath Records and Death Portal Studio.
War samples start off the album along with some soundtrack music from a black and white film and after the intro the music goes for a very raw and melodic blackened death metal sound that also uses a great mixture of screams and growls while the faster sections bring in blast beats along with a more raw take on the genre.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads also add a more chaotic black/death metal sound to the songs when they are utilized and the music also gets very brutal at times and the whole album sticks to a very heavy black and death metal sound from beginning to ending of the recording and some of the riffs also bring in a touch of war metal.
Sereignos plays a musical style that takes a very fast and raw style of black metal and mixes it in with a brutal old school death metal sound to create a style of their own, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics are written in a mixture of Indonesian and English and cover evil, blasphemy and destruction themes.
In my opinion Sereignos are a very great sounding mixture of black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Exterminate The Human Race" "Total havoc" "Evilgas Terror" and "Seven Sacrifice". 8 out of 10.
