Tanmo where a musical project from California that played a mixture of raw, satanic black metal and harsh noise and this is a review of their 2002 album "OppreSSive Lustyranikkal Fukkritualz" which was released by Dipsomaniac Records.
Drums and bass guitars are all absent from this album with the music focusing more on harsh black/noise, while the power electronics bring in elements of harsh noise, experimental and ritualistic sounds to the music while you can also hear drum programming in the background at certain times during the album.
Rhythm guitars which are the only actual musical instrument on the album range from slow, mid paced to fast guitar riffs that combine raw black metal and harsh noise together to create their evil black metal/noise sound and you can hear a lot of heavy amplified distortion coming in and when lead guitars are utilized there are very noisy sounding guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from high pitched black metal screams to deep demonic growls as well as having some harsh noise and noisecore elements being thrown into the screams at times, while the lyrics cover Satanism, and Blasphemous themes, as for the production it has a very harsh, lo-fi, raw and primitive sound to it and most of the songs are very short in length and a lot of them are also under 2 minutes.
In my opinion Tanmo where a very great sounding raw, satanic black metal/noise project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The First Nokkturnal Whorituall" "Seven Sins Of Satanikkkhaos" "Black NekroMetall Of Primitivity" and "Fukk U All Fukkin Die". RECOMMENDED BUY.
